#CoupeDeFrance: Chaumont, Narbonne and Rennes the first semifinalists.

Yesterday the first 3 matches of the quarter-finals of the French Cup were played.
Chaumont litterally overwhelmed Nice with the aces: 16 in three sets, of which 6 for the setter Saeta, author for really an excellent match (9 points in total and top scorer for the home team, like Averill, while Ben Tara contributed with 8 and Atanasov 7). In Nice, Overbeeke scored 13 points and Bartoš 9. After the victory against Rennes, they played a terrible match.

Victory also for Narbonne, which It seems to have found a stability from Jaumel’s arrival, cancelling the field factor against Nantes. Top scorer of the match was Michalovic with 21 points, however he wasn’t enough for Nantes. Great match for Narbonne, with 18 points of Zanotti while Baroti and Lecat scored 17 points each.
Also Rennes victorious after their last defeat in championship in Nice: they win in in four sets in Poitiers thanks to Van den Dries’ 30 points, while Baranek contributed with 12. El Graoui was the top scorer for Poitiers with 27 points followed by Schops with 17.
