#Poland: U.S. national team libero Dustin Watten and 10 more players to Katowice

The libero of the U.S. Volleyball national team Dustin Watten will play to the Polish top division side GKS Katowice with a two-year contract.
The 32-year-old American libero Watten returned to playing in the Plus Liga after a year. Between 2016 and 2018, he competed for Cerrad Czarni Radom. Last season, he played for Berlin Recycling Volleys with whom he became the German champion.

Prior to Watten, Katowice engaged outside hitters Jakub Szymański from Buskowianka Kielce, Division 2, Rafał Szymura from ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle and Adrian Buchowski from MKS Będzin, young middle blocker Kamil Drzazga from AKS V LO Rzeszów, Division 3, setter Jan Firlej from Lindemans Aalst, Belgium, middle blockers Jan Nowakowski from ONICO Warszawa and Miłosz Zniszczoł from Indykpol AZS Olsztyn, libero Szymon Gregorowicz from MKS Będzin, and opposites Jakub Jarosz from Asseco Resovia Rzeszów and Wiktor Musiał from KS Lechia Tomaszów Mazowiecki, Division 2.

Katowice will also have a new head coach in the 2019/20 season as Dariusz Daszkiewicz (Poland U23 Men’s national team) replaced Piotr Gruszka who took over the bench in Asseco Resovia Rzeszów, a month and a half ago.
