“Jiri Kovar is back” is the official announcement of Lube Civitanova.
Since today the Italian spiker is officially part of the team’s roster again.
The Czech-born player, naturalized italian, had been suspended for doping.
Jiri Kovar’s four-month suspension has been expired and he is ready to play for Lube.
“I am happy to be able to play for Lube. It was a difficult period for me but I took the opportunity to prepare physically, working two and a half months in a center of Bologna to recover my physical shape. I’m glad that despite what happened, for which I am sorry, the club and society still believe in me,” says Jiri Kovar.

The contract with Kovar was renewed until June 2019.

“I made a mistake a stupid thing and I learned a low. Life goes on and you never stop learning. In this phase of my life, I will never stop thanking my girlfriend since she has always been with me. So, I make my return to Lube for her.”
