#Superlega: Trentino too strong for Modena, Perugia keep the top position and the others of Round 25.

4 min read

Trentino too strong for Modena, Perugia keep the top position beating Sora in four sets and victory also for Verona against Latina with the same result. No problem for Lube against Castellana, while Milano and Padova win at tie break on the road respectively against Vibo Valentia and Ravenna.
So, in the big match of the round, Trentino defeated Modena away without any difficulties. They finished the game in straight sets with following results 25:19, 25:17, 25:22. Uros Kovacevic with 15 points and Luca Vettori and Aaron Russell with 14 points each led Trentino to the victory, leaving the opposite players empty handed since there were no players with double digits performance!
Perugia have managed to stop Soraā€™s Dusan Petkovic who was author of another superb performance: the Serbian opposite ended the match with 21 points, and on the other side, Wilfredo Leon had 21 and Aleksandar Atanasijevic 18 points.
Lube Civitanova have also scored a victory: Castellana Grotte didnā€™t have any chance against Lube, this time led by Tsvetan Sokolov, top scorer of the match with 19 points.
After a 0-2 advantage of the rival, Vibo Valentia had a great comeback against Milano. However, Nimir Abdelaziz, author of 27 points, had a great performance and Milano won the match after five sets. On the other side Al Hachdadi was once again top scorer of his team with 21 points.
Tie break also between Ravenna and Padova, and a great battle between the two opposites: Ravenna’s Rychlicki was the absolut top scorer of the match with 27 points, but he wasn’t enough. On the other side good performance of Torres, MVP of the match, and author of 20 points.
Close the picture Verona’s victory on Latina’s court. Boyer was in the mood in this match: he scored 25 points and was (deservedly) MVP of the match.
