#ChallengeCup: Monza won a big battle against Belogorie Belgorod in the first leg of Final.

Vero Volley Monza won a big battle against Belogorie Belgorod in the first leg of the 2019 CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup finals.
Monza took the advantage of a home court to surpass Russian Belogorie in the match that lasted for 153 minutes and in which the winner was resolved in the tie-break, with following results: 29:27, 22:25, 25:23, 32:34, 15:12.
Monza had two players which scored 27 points: Czech Donovan Džavoronok and Ukrainian Oleh Plotnytskyi. The latter included six winning blocks of teamā€™s 16 in his really good display. Canadian John Gordon Perrin scored 23 points for Belogorie, while Aleksandr Gutsalyuk made five winning blocks.

The rematch is scheduled in Russia for March 27.
