#Austria: Aich/Dob and Waldviertel win the first match of semifinal

The reigning champions of SK Posojilnica Aich/Dob started the semi-final serie with a clear victory in straight sets in the first match, lasted just 56 minutes, against UVC Weberzeile Ried.
The top scorers were Max Landfahrer with 14 points and Matej Mihajlovic and Matej Kök with 11 points each.

Victory also for Waldviertel….but what a clash against Graz!

The first semi-final between SG Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel and ÖVV Cup Champion of UVC Holding Graz was played in the Stadthalle Zwettl and ended in four set (18:25, 25:19, 32:30, 25:23) in 108 minutes. Top scorer of the match was Lukasz Szarek with 26 points (and what a match for him!), followed by Lars Bornemann with 19 and Dawid Siwczyk with 9 on the winning side, while Tiago Pereira with 18, David Reiter with 9 and Michael Murauer with 8 were best scorers for Graz. It was a very balanced game played at high levels!

The semi-finals will continue next Wednesday.
