SK Posojilnica Aich/Dob and Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel need only one more victory for take the FINALS!

Yesterday in Austria the MATCH 2 of semi-finals were played: SK Posojilnica Aich/Dob and Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel need only one more victory for take the FINALS.
The defending champion won yesterday night against UVC Weberzeile Ried/Innkreis in four sets: this is the scores 25:19, 19:25, 25:20, 25:14, so they put the semi-final duel on 2:0 in the serie.
Aich / Dob scored two more attack points (32:30) and three aces (11:8) more, making 12 own mistakes less (32:44). Top scorers of the home team were Tomasz Rutecki with 16 points, Markus Berger with 12, followed by Niklas Stooß with 7, and among the guests Max Landfahrer was the top scorer with 13 points, followed by Matej Kök who contributed with 12 points and Matej Mihajlovic with 11.

Instead, the runner-up Waldviertel was able to make a great comeback, defeating ÖVV Cup winner UVC Holding Graz at tie break (25:22, 23:25, 20:25, 26:24, 15:12).
It was a great match, and even when everything seemed lost, the guests deservedly won a battle with an uncertain result until the end. If you want some numbers….: attack points 64:52, Aces 4:1, blocks: 12:22, errors 34:28.
Top scorers at Raiffeisen Sportpark were Michael Murauer with 24 points, Tiago Pereira with 20 and Clemens Unterberger with 11 for the hosts, while Lukasz Szarek with 30 pounts, Dawid Siwczyk (13) and Lars Bornemann (11) for the winning side.

Both semi-finals will be continued on Saturday.
