Until a few days ago, the arrival of Bartosz Kurek in Monza seemed only a fantasy. Yet it is now official!
At the end Bartosz Kurek chose to return to Italy wearing the Vero Volley Monza jersey.

Coming from the Onico Warsaw, 31-year-old spiker, MVP of the 2018 World Championship won with his Poland of which he was also the best scorer (171 points in 11 games), joins the team led by the technician Fabio Soli. “I am very happy to arrive in Monza, in an ambitious reality like Vero Volleyā€ – said the new spiker of Vero Volley Monza. ā€œI chose the Vero Volley because it is a club that, season after season, has built a serious and solid project, entering the top teams of the Italian Superlega and centering a continental final at the first participation in a European cup. Italy? I am happy to return to play in a country that I consider fantastic. Not only for having won the World Championship with my national team but also for the quality of the championship, certainly the strongest in the world. The goodness of the food, the weather and the passion and affection that the fans transmit to their team throughout the season are unique in this country. I hope to make an important contribution together with my teammates to be able to get Monza among the top teams at national level. Objectives? Make the fans happy, have fun at the games, giving them and the Vero Volley a historic, dream seasonā€.
