Germany is the favorite to host European Qualifying Tournament for Olympic Games

It seems that will be Germany to holds pole position to hosting the Qualifying Tournament for Olympics which will be played on January 2020 and will serve as the final chance to European teams who fail to reach the Olympics via FIVB International Qualifier. Only the first-placed side in the European Qualifications will go to Tokyo.

So, national federations all over Europe are obliged to send the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) request for organizing qualifications not later than August 23, and the various continental confederations must communicate with the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) until August 31.
