Projekt Warszawa narrowly avoided first defeat in the 2019/20 PlusLiga regular season.
In an extremely exciting match that involved two teams who started the 2019/20 Polish championship very well, the team from Polish capital beat the home side of Aluron Virtu CMC Zawiercie in the tie-break: 3-2 (25:20, 19:25, 25:20, 15:25, 18:16). Aluron Virtu, now at 4-1 score, had a chance to become provisional leaders in case of defeating an unbeaten side (5-0) Warszawa. However, they will still have to wait for such a stunt.
