Turkey: Fenerbahçe extend winning streak to 5 matches to lead title race with Galatasaray

Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta extended their impressive winning streak in the 2019/20 Turkish AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi regular season to five games. In Round 9, they prevailed over İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi Spor Kulübü in four sets (27:25, 25:20, 23:25, 25:21) and tied with the leaders Galatasaray HDI Sigorta in the standings with a 8-1 score and 23 points.
The Dutchman Wouter Ter Maat and Cuban Salvador Hidalgo Oliva led Fenerbahce to the victory scoring 23 and 21 points respectively, while Abdulsamet Yalçın scored 17 points for the losing side.
