The French National Volleyball League board met today and voted in favor of a permanent stop also to the major competitions β Ligue A men and women and Ligue B.
Competitions had been suspended since March 13, 2020, two round before the end of the regular season, due to the spread of Covid-19.
In addition, the vote was taken for βa white seasonβ without promotions and relegations but the hypothesis was rejected (21 votes against, 6 votes in favor, 1 abstention and 1 non-voter) while it was decided to promote/relegate a team for each championship based on the ranking of 12 March (22 votes in favor, 4 against, 3 abstention).
Nice then was relegated from the menβs Ligue A (and it was already mathematically relegated), and Cambrai is promoted from Ligue B (1 point ahead of Nancy 2 days after the end of the regular season).
The standings at March 12 is valid also for European Cups.
These are all teams qualified:

β CEV CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WOMEN: Mulhouse, Nantes
β CEV CUP MEN: Montpellier, Rennes
β CEV CUP WOMEN: Le Cannet, Beziers
β CHALLENGE CUP MEN: Chaumont, Nantes
