As already anticipated about a month ago, the Italian volleyball championship title contenders Sir Safety Conad Perugia hired one more setter for the next season.
It is the 27-year-old German Jan Zimmermann who completed the setterโs department in Perugia, together with Dragan Travica.
Zimmermann came from Belgiumโs Greenyard Maaseik at which he arrived in the middle of the last season from the team based in his home country, Berlin Recycling Volleys.
He has been a permanent member of the Germany National Team since 2014, winning the gold medal at the 2015 CEV European Games.
