The eight-time Portuguese volleyball Championship winners Sport Lisboa e Benfica renewed the contract with one of their key players: Brazilian veteran Raphael Oliveira βRaphaβ. Thus, the 36-year-old outside hitter will play his fourth season with the Portuguese side, the third in a row.
The ex-Brazil National Team member (won the 2011 Pan American Cup) was the best attacker of the Portuguese league last season (55.9 %).
