Poland: ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle prevail over Skra Bełchatów in a PlusLiga classic

Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle prevailed over PGE Skra Bełchatów in the classic of the Polish volleyball.
They beat the rivals in four sets (22:25, 25:21, 25:17, 25:23) in the big match of the third round of the 2020/21 PlusLiga regular season.
It was a duel of the two teams who won all national championship in the last four years: ZAKSA three times and Bełchatów once. In any case, Bełchatów failed to take revenge on the titleholders for a defeat in the Super Cup, at the beginning of September.
Łukasz Kaczmarek scored 19 points for the winning side, while Kamil Semeniuk was great from the service line, putting down 5 aces. Bartosz Filipiak scored 25 points for Bełchatów. Now ZAKSA are at 3-0, while Bełchatów have one victory and two defeats.
In other match played on Saturday, Indykpol AZS Olsztyn was defeated at home in straight sets by Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie.
