The surprising campaign of Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie in the 2020/21 Polish Plusliga regular season continued: they noted the fourth successive win, all coming after a defeat in the opening round! In Round 6, they beat Cerrad Enea Czarni Radom in a very convincing match: 3-0 (25:21, 25:20, 25:22). Garrett Muagututia was the top scorer with 12 points, while Brazilian Flávio Gualberto made 5 winning blocks. With this victory today, the team coached by Montenegrin Igor Kolaković kept following the leaders Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle, who downed Indykpol AZS Olsztyn in four sets and have a 6-0 score in the standings.
Karol Butryn with 24 points and Estonian Timo Tammemaa with 5 blocks were the most deserved players for the third victory in a row of Asseco Resovia Rzeszów: 3-2 vs newcomers Stal Nysa.
