After making a furious start to the season, Kuzbass Kemerovo found themselves losing the second successive match in the 2020/21 Russian Volleyball Championship.
Dinamo Moscow prevailed over them in a derby of the seventh round of the Superliga Parimatch: 3-1 (24:26, 25:22, 25:20, 28:26).
Belgian Sam Deroo and Bulgarian Tsvetan Sokolov scored 18 points each while, with 4 blocks each, Pavel Pankov and Vadim Likhosherstov made their contribution to a big victory that put Dinamo at the top of the standings with 5-0 and 15 points. Ivan Zaytsev scored 20 points on the losing side.
Yugra-Samotlor (Vitaliy Papazov 29 points, Yaroslav Verniy 4 blocks) defeated Enisey and broke the five-game losing streak.
All the other matches of the round, with the exception of a duel between Zenit-Kazan and Zenit Saint-Petersburg (tomorrow), are postponed.
