Two recovery matches of French Ligue A were played today: in the one valid for round 6 Montpellier, with Javier Gonzalez MVP of the match, literally blocked Poitiers (15 to 3 with 6 by Demyanenko and 5 by Le Goff) in straight sets. Sclater was the top scorer of the match with 20 points and 63% in attack, and for Montpellier this is the fifteenth victory in a row between the championship and the CEV Cup, which is also worth the title of winter champion.
In the recovery match of Round 8 Chaumont, without the Italian expert Prandi (engaged with Bulgaria and today replaced in the role of head coach for the first time by his assistant Antonello Andriani) was defeated 3-1 by Tours which thus rises to 2nd place in the charts.
