Poland: Jastrzebski Wegiel, Warszawa and Cuprum Lubin win Saturday’s matches of Round 23

In yesterday’s Plusliga matches the three favorites win. In the first afternoon match, VERVA Warszawa ORLEN Paliwa (still without Szalpuk and Grobelny, but with the substitute Jan Fornal at the end awarded MVP of the match) won 3-1 on the field of Cerrad Enea Czarni Radom (with a flop of Lucas Loh finished on the bench with 0 points).
Jastrzebski Wegiel (with Italian expert Gardini on his debut on the bench) struggled more than expected to win away against GKS Katowice, only succeeding in the tie-break after failing a match point in the 4th set. MVP of the match Szymura (in the field instead of Louati) and top scorer Al Hachdadi with 24 points.
Finally, in the evening, Cuprum Lubin defeated Stal Nysa 3-2, claiming their fourth consecutive victory.
