Champions League: Trentino prevail over BR Volleys on the road

Italian side Itas Trentino is very close to book tickets for the semifinals of the CEV Champions League, as they defeated BR Volleys away 3-1 (25:19, 25:23, 26:28, 25:17).
Even though BR Volleys had a better start of the game, taking a lead 6:4, the Italian team managed to make an amazing scoring run 9:0 to take over the lead and later to take the first set 25:17.
Great battle in the second set which was ended well for the away side, which managed to win the uncertain finish of this part of the game 25:23. In the third set, BR Volleys this time winning a set 28:26.
However, in the fourth set, the home team’s performance suddenly dropped which was a sign for Trentino to clinch the first leg game, 3-1.
Nimir Abdelaziz was the top scorer of the match with 28 points and 71% in attack, while Srecko Lisinac also contributed with 12 and Marko Podrascanin 11. Timothee Carle was the best scorer with 18 points for the hosts, while Ben Patch added 16.
