Turkey: Ziraat – Galatasaray 3-1 in recovery match of Round 20. Playoffs for fifth place and program of Turkish Cup

In recovery match of Round 20 Ziraat defeated the remodeled Galatasaray in four sets (without Berezhko, because he was registered after the original match date; Subasi absent) and now he will be able to play for first place in the standings in recovery match against Fenerbahce scheduled for 11 March. With today’s result, Galatasaray instead slips to 4th place for worst set quotient compared to Arkas Izmir.
In the meantime, given the ranking situation already defined, the playoffs for 5th place started today without waiting for the end of the regular season: in the semifinal Game 1 victories as predicted for Spor Toto and Halkbank respectively against Inegol and TFL Altekma.
The Turkish federation then released the calendar of quarters, semi-finals and final of the Turkish Cup (at the bottom of this article).
