Spor Toto – Halkbank Turkish Cup final!

Spor Toto upset Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta and secured a place in the final of the 2021 Turkish AXA Sigorta Kupa Voley.
Finding themselves down 2-1 after throwing away the 3rd set (advantage of 16:20 and 22:24) and at a disadvantage 20:18 in the 4th set, the winners found a break of 3 consecutive points (20:21), closed the partial at the 3rd set point and dominated the tie-break.

The Brazilian outside hitter led his team to a fantastic win over the favorite in the semifinals with 37 points, while Argentine Nicolás Bruno served 5 aces and Sercan Yüksel Bıdak set up 4 blocks and made 73% attack (11/15).

And the final will be among the two big disappointed of the championship, both remained out of the playoffs and that a few days ago faced each other in Game 1 of the playoffs for 5th place final.
