1 min read

Berlin Recycling Volleys, who finished the regular season in 3rd place, surprisingly prevailed without lot of problems over the fiercest rivals and top-seed VfB Friedrichshafen in the playoff finals of the 2020/21 German 1. Bundesliga.
Thus they won the 11th championship title in the clubā€™s history and the 5th in a row.
Except from Game 1, which ended in 5 sets, the team from the countryā€™s capital didnā€™t have many problems to overtake the rivals in the title face-off.
Two other games ended in straight sets, including the decisive one (25:21, 25318, 25:21).
American Benjamin Patch scored 16 points for Berlin, including 4 aces, while Linus Weber put down 2 points more than the US National team member but on the losing side.
