After 11 years, Draisma Dynamo can again call themselves the best volleyball club in the Netherlands. By defeating the Amysoft Lycurgus in four sets (23:25, 28:26, 25:17, 25:20) at home in Apeldoorn in the 3rd and, as it turned out, the decisive game of the playoff finals of the 2020/21 Eredivisie, they got crowned as champions. The team coached by Redbad Strikwerda and which has a few Dutch National Team members in the roster, such as Sjoerd Hoogendoorn and Jeroen Rauwerdink, lost the opening match of the series before making a turnaround and winning the 13th national title.
