Tokyo 2021: These 12 players will represent France. Rossard out

1 min read

Laurent Tille, the head coach of the France Volleyball National Team, has chosen the 12 players who will compete in the Tokyo Olympics in a month, six of which were already present four years ago in Rio (Toniutti, Ngapeth, his son KĂ©vin, Clevenot, Le Goff, and Grebennikov).
After Julien Lyneel decided to skip the event due to injury, there were actually not many dilemmas left for the staff, as Tillie explained. But probably the biggest question was which outside hitters out of those competing in the VNL 2021 will go to Tokyo and Tillie decided to exclude Thibault Rossard.

The 12-player list of France Men for the Tokyo Olympics:

BRIZARD Antoine – Setter
TONIUTTI Benjamin – Setter
PATRY Jean – Opposite
BOYER StĂ©phen – Opposite
CLÉVENOT TrĂ©vor – Outside hitter
LOUATI Yacine – Outside hitter
NGAPETH Earvin – Outside hitter
TILLIE KĂ©vin – Outside hitter
CHINENYEZE BarthĂ©lĂ©my – Middle blocker
LE GOFF Nicolas – Middle blocker
BULTOR Daryl – Middle blocker
