Italy: Trentino make good start to new season by beating Verona in last match of Round 1

Itas Trentino made a winning debut to the 2021/22 Italian SuperLega Credem Banca.
At the closing of Round 1, the team commanded by Angelo Lorenzetti prevailed over Verona Volley in straight sets, partially 25:16, 29:27, 25:23.
The match was full of twists, which the fight in the second set shows in the best way: Trentino had 21:16 lead, but Verona tied at 22:22!
Bulgarian veteran Matey Kaziyski was the most prolific player for the winners with 16 points, four of which came from the service line, 3 winning blocks and 53% in attack. He was named MVP of the match. Good performance also for Serbian middle-blocker Lisinac, who also contributed with 12 points, 67% in attack and 2 winning blocks. Slovenian Rok Mozic was the only player of Verona in double digit, with 18 points (2 winning blocks, 1 ace and 47% in attack).
