Austria: all favorites win matches of Round 12

All matches of Austrian Volley League Round 12 were played today, and to VCA Amstetten NÖ miss just one point to enter into the top round after Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel and UVC Weberzeile Ried.

Amstetten celebrated their ninth win in ten match: on Saturday evening, they defeated in straight sets (25:23, 25:21, 25:22) a very combative VBC TLC Weiz (without Leo Schober) in their home court.
The match was very very balanced, with the hosts better only in last (and decisive) part of each set.

Also TJ Sokol V/Post SV Wien still have a mathematical chance of third place. Today they prevailed over VBK Wörther-See-Löwen Klagenfurt 3:1 (23:25, 25:23, 25:23, 25:18), led by another great performance of Clemens Ecker, this time author of 27 points and once again top scorer of the match.

The newcomers Hypo Tirol Innsbruck had no chance against absolute leaders Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel, and suffered a clear 0-3 defeats (16:25, 17:25, 18:25) in their home court, still waiting for the first victory in top division.
The second-placed Ried also scored three points on the road, but needed four sets to defeats TSV Raiffeisen Hartberg (25:22, 25:16, 23:25, 25:17).
