Turkey: Fenerbahçe down Arkas in big match of Round 11, Halkbank at 11-0!

Other five matches of 2021/22 Turkish AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi Round 11 were played today.
Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta emerged victoriously from the big match of the day against Arkas Spor, to record the fourth successive win in the competition.
The Frenchman Yacine Louati and Cuban Salvador Hidalgo led the winners to a comeback from 0-1 to 3-1 with 19 points each (50% and 34% efficiency in attack, 2 blocks e 1 ace for the first, 45% and 29% efficiency in attack, 2 blocks e 3 aces for the second), while the youngster Ahmet Tümer set up five blocks.

But Halkbank don’t let Fenerbahçe take over the top spot in the charts, as the Ankara side remained unbeaten, reaching 11-0 after they swept Sorgun Bld.

With three points from the encounter against Tokat Bld. Plevne, the titleholders Ziraat Bankkart claim the third victory in a row to stay side by side with Fenerbahçe in the standings, as these two are leveled at 27 points, four points behind the leading Halkbank.

About the others, resounding 1-3 between Bursa BBSK and modest Afyon who, despite the three points, is still at the bottom of charts.
One points also for Tokat who, surprisingly, win 2 sets against Spor Toto.
