Bulgaria: Nikolay Zhelyazkov new head coach

Italian expert Silvano Prandi is no longer head coach of Bulgarian National team. He will replaced by Nikolay Zhelyazkov.

The 51-year-old expert has agreed with the Bulgarian federation (BVF) to lead Bulgaria national team until the end of the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.
He is expected to make his debut at the helm of Bulgaria Men in the tournament of the FIVB Volleyball Nations League later this year.

The former long-time member of the Bulgaria National Team, playing as a middle blocker, will keep his job in the country’s club Neftohimik 2010, which he has been commanding since 2019.
