Predictions respected in both CEV Challenge Cup matches played today.
In last match of quarterfinals first leg, France’s Narbonne won in four sets in Switzerland, on the field of Lausanne UC (25:22, 21:25, 22:25, 15:25), with 11 winning blocks (6 by Martin Ramos, author also of a perfect performance in attack, 100% and 7/7) and 16 points by Aymen Bouguerra (3 aces, 1 block and 63% in attack).
No problem for Halkbank Ankara who, with a 0-3 (15:25, 23:25, 21:25) win over Estonia’s Tallin Technical University in first match of second leg played in advance, become first team qualified for semifinals.
Both encounters were held on the court of Halkbank, who will face the winners of a face-off between Greece’s Panathinaikos AC Athens and Spain’s CAI Teruel (3-1 in the first leg).
