Austria: Klagenfurt – Ried 1-3 in first match for 5th place

Another match to define the final standings of 2021/22 Austrian Volley League has been played today.
In first leg of the match for 5th place, home defeat for VBK Wörther-See-Löwen Klagenfurt against a very good UVC Ried/Innkreis, who can celebrate a 1:3 (24:26, 20:25, 25:21, 17:25) win. The second leg is scheduled next Wednesday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the Raiffeisen Volleydome Ried.
Top scorers among the hosts were Marius Petschnig and Arwin Kopschar with 15 points each while, about the winners, Ried, Niklas Stooß scored 25 points with a super 68% in attack, and Markus Berger added 20 (50% in attack, 2 aces and 2 winning blocks).
