Italy: It’s not over! Lube return to semifinal series against Trentino with a clear straight sets win!

Cucine Lube Civitanova re-opened the semi-final series of the 2021/22 Italian SuperLega Credem Banca playoffs against Itas Trentino.
The second semi-final of the competition will also continue to Game 4.
Today, the 2nd-seed Lube returned in the series against 3rd-seed and did so with a practically perfect performance, ended in straight sets (25;16, 25:19, 25:17). After losing the first 2 games in straight sets, Lube practically never let Trentino enter Game 3, finding themselves in the lead even by 10-4 in the first set and 13-4 in the 3rd.
Brazilian Ricardo Lucarelli led the team commanded by Gianlorenzo Blengini to the victory with 15 points through 86% attack (12/14), while Cuban Robertlandy Simón set up 4 blocks, 11 points and the final ace. However, MVP award went to setter Luciano De Cecco.

Either way, it was an one-sided game, and also all numbers speak in favor of the winners: Lube better in attack, 62% vs. 46%, 5 vs. 3 aces, 6 vs. the winning blocks.
Bad evening of Michieletto and Podrascanin, for Trento, and Lavia was the only one with a double digit: 11 points and 45% in attack.
