WCH 2022: All results of August 27 @ Katowice – Poland

The first team to score a win in Pool A is Tunisia, as they dominated Puerto Rico in Katowice, Poland, in Day 2 of 2022 FIVB World Championship.
Their rival seemed very much indisposed and unable to rip off at least one set. Hamza Nagga top-scored the winners with 15 points, while Omar Agrebi made 4 blocks.
Partially it was 25:19, 25:17 and 25:20.

On the same Pool, probably Serbia had done the largest part of the work in the group stage regarding the progression to the elimination phase. In fact, they defeat Ukraine, the toughest rivals (at least on paper) in straight sets (26:28, 21:25, 20:25).
Led by Oleg Plotnytskyi, top scorer of the match with 17 points, the national team that replaced disqualified Russia, forced Serbia to play a dramatic finish of the first set and even had two set points. However, Igor Kolaković’s side claimed the next two sets without lot of problems. Uroš Kovačević and Marko Ivović scored 11 points each, while Marko Podraščanin served 4 aces on the winning side.
