After Benfica’s away win yesterday, first leg of second round of 2022 CEV Champions League has been completed today with other three matches.
Austria’s SK Zadruga Aich/Dob defeated Finland’s defending champions Ford Levoranta Sastamala at tie break (16:25, 25:20, 25;23, 22:25, 19:17) in a very balanced game in front of their home fans, led by greek Anastasios-Stamatios Aspiotis, who ended the game with 30 points including 2 aces, 2 winning blocks and 60% in attack.
Romania’s C.S. Arcada Galati needed only three sets to win on the field of Bulgaria’s Hebar Pazardzhik (22:25, 19:25, 24:26) while, in the last match of the day, home win for Lindaren Volley Amriswil from Switzerland over Croatia’s HAOK Mladost Zagreb. 3-1 is the final result, partially 25:18, 19:25, 25:21 and 25:22.
