Argentine SuperCup: UPCN take revenge on Ciudad to lift 24th trophy in club history!

UPCN Vóley Club won the first title of the 2022/23 club volleyball season in Argentina.

By winning the 2022 Argentine Super Cup (Supercopa ACLAV) in a very intense final against Club Ciudad de Buenos Aires in Mar del Plata, UPCN Vóley Club won the first trophy of the club season in South American country.
The players from San Juan won 3-0, with partial of 25:23, 32:30, and 25:22. With this result, UPCN reached title number 24 in club’s history and took revenge on Ciudad for the lost match in last season’s Super Cup.

Manuel Armoa was the top scorer on the winning side and also of the match with 23 points, while Flavio Rajczakowski excelled in blocking with 5 stuffs. The Argentina National Team member Facundo Conte led the Ciudad’s scoresheet with 16 points.
