Russia: Kazan down Moscow again – 2-0 in final series! Novosibirsk and Saint Petersburg 1-1 for 3rd place

Zenit Kazan is perfect in Final of Russian Superliga!
After the clear success in Game 1, Alexei Verbov’s players repeat themselves in front of their home fans by winning in four sets the second Game of the series against Dynamo Moscow after losing the first set (18:25, 25:15, 25:18, 25:21).
A game with a first set marked by the aces of Sokolov (11-15) and Likhosherstov (16-23), and for Dynamo the game is over, as the others were literally dominated by the hosts, led again by a great Mikhaylov, top scorer among the winners with 20 points, and a great performance also by setter Micah Christenson.
On the other side of the net the 24 points of Tsvetan Sokolov weren’t enough.
Game 3 and eventual Game 4 will be played in Moscow and, meanwhile, Zenit Saint Petersburg leveled the score in final 3rd place by winning in just three sets against Lokomotiv Novosibirsk (25:20, 25:23, 25:21) while, in series for 5th place, Belogorie Belgorod won Game 1 against Dinamo LO.
