Final of Club World Championship is Perugia – Minas!

Italian volleyball team Sir Sicoma Perugia is ready to defend their world title at the FIVB Men’s Club World Championship.
After securing a decisive victory over Türkiye’s Halkbank Spor Kulübü in the semifinals, now they’ll face Brazil’s Itambé Minas in final.
In their semifinal match in Bengaluru, India, Perugia showcased their dominance, winning in straight sets (25:14, 25:16, 31:29), with Polish Kamil Semeniuk top scorer with 15 points, and Cuban Jesus Herrera who contributed with 13.
On the other side, Halkbank’s Nimir Abdel-Aziz and Mert Mátic scored nine and eight points, respectively.
Meanwhile, Minas secured too their spot in the final after a hard-fought victory over Japan’s Suntory Sunbirds, winning 2-3 (25:22, 22:25, 30:28, 20:25, 15:17) in a thrilling five-set match.
Key players for then winners was Cuban Michael Sanchez, who scored 27 points, while Dmitriy Muserskiy, with 23 points led the scoring of Suntory Sunbirds.
