Round 11 of 2023/24 Plusliga started today with first three games.
The day started with two away win, both in straight sets, and closed in the evening with another 0-3 win.
In the first one Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie won on the field Ślepsk Malow Suwałki (22:25, 21:25, 22:25).
Led by setter Miguel Tavares Rodrigues, named MVP of the match, and three players in double digit (an excellent Trevor Clevenot, top scorer with 17 points, all in attack with 77%, Karol Butryn and Mateusz Bienek, who also contributed with 12 and 11, respectively), they won the game in 98 minutes and without major problems.
After a disastrous start, PGE GiEK Skra Bełchatów back to the victory claiming their fourth seasonal success on the field of GKS Katowice – 0-3 (21:25, 18:25, 20:25), with setter Grzegorz Łomacz named MVP of the match, well supported by a great Dawid Konarski, top scorer with 20 points to his name through 65% in attack. To make the difference also the 12 winning blocks (4 from Bartłomiej Lemański), compared to the hosts’ 5.
Close the picture the third straight sets win away of the day, the one of Indykpol AZS Olsztyn on the field of KGHM Cuprum Lubin (23:25, 22:25, 14:25) who played only first two sets, and then collapsed in the third one, and after 87 minutes of play. Top scorer and MVP of the match Nicolas Szerszeń with 15 points to his name through 48% in attack and 2 of the winners’ 10 winning blocks, and double digit also for Moritz Karlitzek and Manuel Armoa, who also contributed with 13 and 11 points, respectively, while Kamik Kwasowski was the most prolific player for Lubin with 10 points, but with only 35% in attack.
Round 11 will continue tomorrow with other 3 games including the big match between Projekt Warszawa and Jastrzębski Węgiel.
