Club World Championship: Perugia won the title for second year in a row!

In a basically one-sided final, with the Brazilians who played only in second set, in which they led the game 3-8, Sir Sicoma Perugia won Club World Championship for second year a row.
The game against Minas ended with 3-0 (25:13, 25:21, 25:19) after just 1 hours and 11 minutes of play, and the winners dominated in all elements, starting from blocking (11 to 4), aces (7 to 0) and errors (26 for Minas, against 14 of Perugia).
This triumph marks the 12th time an Italian club has won the championship in its 18 editions, and Perugia’s journey to the top was marked by an unbroken streak of wins. Kamil Semeniuk led the scoring with 14 points, while MVP Oleh Plotnytskyi added 13.

Earlier Japan’s Suntory Sunbirds secured a historic third place, their first medal in the tournament, overcoming Türkiye’s Halkbank Spor Kulübü in a thrilling five-set match, 17:25, 23:25, 25:21, 25:19, 15:12.
