France: Tourcoing last semifinalist! Toulouse eliminated in Game 5

In decisive Game 5 of 2023/24 MARMARA SPIKE LEAGUE Quarterfinals, Tourcoing celebrated a great 3-1 (25:18, 25:23, 23:25, 25:14) win over Toulouse to close their best-of-five series with the score of 3-2.
In addition to an impressive performance in blocking, scoring as many as 17 points from this element (6 only from Rune Fasteland and 4 from setter Matias Giraudo), the winners were led in score by MVP and top scorer Gonzalo Quiroga, who left the court with 18 points to his name through 52% in attack, 3 aces and 2 blocks. In semifinal, on Sunday, Tourcoing will face Saint Nazaire, who surprisingly eliminated second-placed in regular season Nantes in just three games, while Ligue A leaders Chaumont will welcome defending champions Tours in a remake of last season final.
