In a thrilling showdown at TVF Burhan Felek Vestel Volleyball Hall in Istanbul, Arkas Spor emerged victorious in the 2024 AXA Sigorta Champions Cup (Supercup), defeating Turkish Champions Halkbank in just three sets, partially 26-24, 27-25, and 25-21.
Halkbank put up a strong fight but could not overcome the rivals’ strong performance.
Arkas veteran opposite Georg Grozer was named MVP of the match, once again proving his outstanding quality at the “tender age” of 39.
