PGE Projekt Warszawa outclasses PSG Stal Nysa with a clean a clean 0-3 (27:29, 22:25, 23:25) win, with Jakub Kochanowski who earned MVP award, contributing with 11 points, included three aces, three blocks, and 56% attack efficiency, while match top scorer was Bartłomiej Bołądź with 19 points to his name.
In another game of today program Cuprum Stilon Gorzów ended their four-match losing streak by sweeping Ślepsk Malow Suwałki also in straight sets, 0-3 (21:25, 24:26, 22:25), led by Chizoba Neves Atu who, with his 18 points, led the charge and earned the MVP title.
In the evening, Trefl Gdańsk pulled off a huge upset defeating the higher-ranked PGE GiEK Skra Bełchatów in straight sets (29:27, 25:23, 25:21).
Aliaksei Nasevich was the star of the night, scoring 21 points and earning MVP honors, with a solid support from Piotr Orczyk who also contributed with 14 points.
On the other side, Miran Kujundzić (19 points) and Ziga Stern (12 points) couldn’t quite turn the tide, especially with Bełchatów struggling on serves and making 19 errors.
Round 18 will continue tomorrow with other two games: Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie will welcome Asseco Resovia Rzeszów while, in the evening, titleholders and current leaders Jastrzębski Węgiel will welcome last-placed GKS Katowice.
