Round 19 of 2024/25 Superlega CredemBanca or, if you prefer, Round 8 of second leg, started today with the advance between Itas Trentino โ Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza, as well as a big classic of Italian volleyball, ended with the score of 3-2 (19:25, 25:27, 25:17, 25:20, 15:9) after more than two hours of intense play.
Piacenza started strong, winning the first two sets with dominant performances from Efe Mandiraci, who left the court with 21 points
to his name, and Stephen Maar, who added 20. However, the home team turned the match around with powerful serving and blocking, led by MVP Kamil Rychlicki, author of 22 points, who made a crucial impact after entering in the second set.
Trento controlled the final three sets, sealing the victory with a decisive 15-9 fifth set.
Also Daniele Lavia was decisive, scoring the same number of points in what was Trentoโs third seasonal sold out, in front of 4000 volleyball fans!
Round 19 will close tomorrow with all the other scheduled games.
