With semifinals both at decisive Game 3, first verdicts came from 2024/25 Plusliga.
After winning game 1 on the road, ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle down Asseco Resovia Rzeszów at tie break after a great comeback from 0-2, 3-2 (23:25, 23:25, 25:19, 25:18, 16:14), to close this season at 5th place, also earning a spot in next season’s CEV Challenge Cup, Europe’s third-tier volleyball competition.
Despite losing the first two sets (23:25, 23:25), ZAKSA performed a stunning comeback, winning the next three. The victory not only marks a good finish to this 2024/25 season,!but also keeps their European ambitions alive.
