Round 10 of 2025/26 Plusliga has been completed today with last two games.
Predictions respected in first one in which ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle struggled more than expected in first two sets, but eventually managed to down Cuprum Stilon Gorzów with the score of 3-1 (27:25, 21:25, 25:20, 25:19) to secure their fifth victory of the season.
ZAKSA trailed 23–18 in the first set before performing a decisive comeback to win 27–25. The visiting side leveled the match with a second-set win, but ZAKSA controlled the next two sets to close out the match 25–20 and 25–19, led by Kamil Rychlicki, who left the court with 25 points to his name, finishing with a 56% attack efficiency, two blocks and MVP honora. Jakub Szymański added 18 points, while Igor Grobelny had 15 and Szymon Jakubiszak also contributed with 13. For Gotzów, Mathis Henno tallied 19 points, followed by Kamil Kwasowski with 17, while Chizoba Neves Atu added 13 and Marcin Kania also finished in double digit with 10.
In the evening, after dominating first two sets, PGE GiEK SKRA Bełchatów struggled but eventually managed to down Barkom Każany Lwów also in four sets, 3-1 (25:16, 25:19, 23:25, 28:26).
Plusliga will continue on Thursday with the advance of Round 11 between Energa Trefl Gdańsk and PGE GiEK SKRA Bełchatów.
