Japanese side Suntory Sunbirds Osaka starts making their transfers moves for next season.
After Dimitry Muserskiy’s retirement, first name is Tunisian opposite Wassim Ben Tara, in Superlega’s powerhouse Sir Susa Vim Perugia since 2023/24 season, but they are also very active in acquiring their very own Yuki Ishikawa, who is expecting to leave Perugia after the ongoing season.
Suntory Sunbirds are doing everything they could to land the Japanese superstar, as will lose their biggest star Ran Takahashi who, after the current season he will play in Lublin.
But, will he join? NO.
In fact Yuki was very certain that he will stay in Italy at least until Los
Angeles 2028, with his former head coach Roberto Piazza very vocal in bringing him back home, to Allianz Milano, where he played for 4 seasons.
Yuki remains a top transfer priority for Milano.
Besides the aforementioned Milano, Modena would also like to see the Japanese player with them, but this direction is currently the least likely. Ishikawa in Perugia is most likely to be replaced by the talented French outside hitter Mathis Henno, currently in Polish Plusliga, more precisely in Cuprum Stilton Gorzów.
