France: Round 24 completed. Plessis Robinson back to the win! Poitiers, Cannes and Tours won at tie break. Toulouse shock Montpellier to claim ticket for playoffs!

After the advance played yesterday, in which Paris sweep Nice in a prequel of Coupe de France final and the success of Narbonne over last-placed Ajaccio, Round 24 of 2025/26 MARMARA Spike League has been completed today with the remaining five games, three of them ended at tie break.
Including leaders Tours who, thanks to a powerful game against No.3 Tourcoing, lasted 2 hours and 10 minutes and ended with the score of 3-2 (25:17, 20:25, 21:25, 25:22, 15:12), officially won regular season, boasting 59 points!
In front of almost 3000 volleyball fans at their Salle Grenon, Nik Mujanovic once again top-scored the winners with 21 points to his name all in attack, through 40%, while Isaac Heslinga (including 4 of Tours’ 12 winning blocks) and Landry Yaoussia Kavogo also contributed with 16 and 11 points, respectively. Simon Roehrig scored 15 points through 59% in attack (10/17), 1 ace and 4 blocks on the other side of the net.
Behind Tours in the standings, at second place, Montpellier, despite a bad defeat against an excellent Toulouse, officially qualified to playoffs in the top 6 after a well-deserved 0-3 (16:25, 15:25, 22:25) win.
Brazilian Wilson Silva earned MVP honors with 17 points to his name through 60% in attack (12/20), 50% positives receptions, 2 aces and 3 blocks, well supported by Tibo Rippert, who added 11 including 2 aces and 2 blocks, Jules Duthoit who also contributed with 9 and setter Thomas Gill, who scored 6 points including 3 aces and 1 block, two elements which made the difference (12 to 1 blocks, 8 to 2 aces).
Despite a tie break and two sets won by Sète, Poitiers managed to keep home invincibility in 2026, winning the game 3-2 (23:25, 23:25, 25:22, 25:17, 20:18), with 20 points from MVP Dusan Nikolic (57% in attack with 17/30, 1 ace and 2 blocks), and 23 from an once again excellent Thomas Pujol, one of the best outside hitters of this season (61% in attack with 23/38, 49% positives receptions and 1 block).
Tie break win also for Cannes, almost wasting a 2-0 lead over a Chaumont sure to play also in next edition of Marmara Spike League yesterday, after the win of Narbonne over last-placed Ajaccio.
The game ended with the score of 3-2 (25:23, 25:15, 22:25, 20:25, 15:13), with 24 points including the one that closed the game, from Xander Ketrzynski (41% in attack, 3 aces and 6 blocks), decisive in key moments of the game, and 14 each from Joao Noleto and Theo Mohwinkel.

Setter Kellian Motta Paes earned MVP honors sending his team with 45% performance in attack and also contributing with 8 points including 1 ace and 3 blocks.
On the other side of the net, Pierre Toledo scored 20 points , while Rok Bracko and Estonian middle blocker Alex Saaremaa scored 16 points each. The second one through 64% in attack, including 3 aces and 6 blocks, so scoring 36 points in two games and a total of 16 winning blocks!
Marmara Spike League will continue on Thursday with the advance of Round 25 between Sète and Cannes.
