Poland: Bełchatów close their Plusliga campaign at 5th Place. Olstzyn defeated again at tie break!

After a hard fought tie break win in favor of Indykpol AZS Olstzyn in Game 1 and a comeback and a win with the same result for PGE GiEK SKRA Bełchatów of 2025/26 Plusliga clash for 5th Place, No.6 in Regular Season Bełchatów officially close their campaign at 5th Place, winning again at tie break the decisive game 3 of best-of-three series, 2-3 (28:26, 20:25, 18:25, 28:26, 13:15).
Daniel Chiţigoi led the charge once again in front of almost 4000 volleyball fans at Olstzyn’s Hala Urania, leaving the court as top scorer with 26 points to his name through 60% in attack, 1 of the winners’ 11 blocks and MVP honors, well supported by an almost perfect Bartłomiej Lemański who added 18 through 81% in attack, 4 blocks and 1 ace.
Karol Borkowski top-scored the hosts, who suffered the bad day of their bomber Jan Hadrava (11 points with only 36% in attack, then replaced in fourth set), with 21 points.
