Bulgaria: 18th National Title for Levski Sofia. Neftohimic Burgas defeated in 2026 Final

Regular season leader and defending champion Levski Sofia lived up to expectations in the final against Neftohimic Burgas, with a 3-1 series victory that closed a near-perfect season.
The team from country’s capital, under the command of head coach Nikolay Jeliazkov, was crowned Bulgarian champion Saturday night, defeating Neftohimic Burgas by 3-1 in the best-of-five final (3-1, 3-0, 1-3, 3-2).
The decisive game, won at tie break, lasted 2 hours and 9 minutes in front of 1,450 spectators (17:25, 27:25, 25:16, 19:25, 7:15).
This season, Levski Sofia dominated the SuperLiga with 26 wins and only 4 losses (two in the regular season and two in the playoffs).
This performance allowed them to clinch their 18th Bulgarian league title, their third consecutive championship, after having already won the Super Cup, the third one in club’s history, earlier in the season.
