The African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) has officially confirmed the list of national teams qualified for the 2026 CAVB African Men’s Volleyball Championship, following the successful conclusion of the zonal qualification tournaments held across the continent.
The championship will take place in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, from September 7 to 21, 2026, bringing together the 16 best men’s national teams in Africa for what promises to be a highly competitive tournament.

• Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 (Zone 6 Champion)
The 2026 African Men’s Volleyball Championship carries major international significance, as it serves as the continental qualification tournament for both the LA 2028 Olympic Games and the 2027 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship.
Qualification system:
• The highest-ranked team at the end of the tournament will secure Africa’s direct berth at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
• The three highest-ranked teams not already qualified will earn places at the 2027 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship.
